A: Hood Famous Bakeshop is located at 2325 1/2 NW Market St. Seattle, WA 98107. Our location is primarily a production kitchen with a small retail sweets-to-go counter. We currently cater and distribute our personal size and 6-inch cheesecakes to retailers listed here.
Q: Do you ship your cheesecakes?
A: We do not ship our cheesecakes at this time. To ensure that our cheesecakes make it to your doorstep in the best quality possible, we are still searching for the best way to ship these goods!
Q: Do your retailers carry the whole cheesecakes?
A: Yes, our 3-inch personal size cheesecakes and whole 6-inch ube cheesecakes are available daily at our retailers listed here. We deliver Monday and Friday mornings.
Q: WILL HOOD FAMOUS BAKESHOP BE OFFERING OTHER FLAVORS OR DESSERTS?
A: YES! We started our bakeshop in November 2014 with our flagship item - ube cheesecake. However, we are currently testing a wide variety of other flavors and desserts. Feel free to follow up on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter to receive the most up to date information about our growing line of sweet treats.
Q: HOW LONG DO THE CHEESECAKE LAST IN THE FRIDGE?
A: Your cheesecake will remain fresh for 7-10 days (from sell-by date) when properly stored in a refrigerator and kept it away from strong odor; 30 days if frozen.
Q: WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CUT CHEESECAKE?
A: With a long knife, cut into the cheesecake. Before you make the second cut, dip the knife in warm water and clean with a paper towel. Then make your next cut. Dip your knife into warm water and clean your knife after each cut and you'll have the smoothest cuts ever!
Q: WHAT STYLE OF CHEESECAKE DO YOU MAKE?
A: Each Hood Famous cheesecake is a New York-style cheesecake, made by hand with love in small batches. There are no additives, preservatives or fillers. Cheesecake and non-cheesecake lovers alike have told us that our cheesecakes stand out because of it's light and creamy melt-in-your-mouth experience. The crust is made with a perfect blend of coconut biscuit and fresh unsalted butter.
Q: I WAS TRYING TO PURCHASE A CHEESECAKE ON THE WEBSITE, BUT MY ORDER IS NOT GOING THROUGH. CAN I ORDER ANOTHER WAY?
